-how does the man with the golden gun communicate the meaning with GENRE?-
- visual images- In the posters main image it is James bond wearing a tuxedo which can represent responsibilities towards wealth and virtual image that James bond has to play off to keep his image to key standards.
- The action shots such as car scenes, escapism scenes and gun fights, these draw in audiences because of the thrill, car scenes bring a lot of tension to an audience which can lead them to be more intrigued in further scenes this can also be the escapism scenes from 'gangs' which can show victory, The gun fights through out each James Bond movies especially the man with the golden gun represents a virtual image of having enemies and hatred towards people and can also bring in revenge in a tense but could also have revenge for a mistress or a loved person, it could also bring out sorrow because of the feeling going through the character because they wouldn't be able to contain the feeling and the pressure would build up because they may not want to do it.
- The colour scheme through out the movie contains of multiple colours with different meanings such as -RED-SILVER-GREY-BLACK-GOLD- you can see these colours through out the main poster, you can see red coming through in all writing done in the poster which is easy to see and allows the audiences attention to be brought to the cover , the silver comes into the poster by the machinery near the bottom left corner which can show that there might be some wealth as silver i expensive, the grey comes in by the smoke you see in the middle and left top corner which shows action scenes are going to appear as in the poster it is shown as explosions which indicates some type of war or gun right happening which may blow up an object such as a car, building or even a bridge, the colour black represents formal and wealth, showing confidence in what you wear to back this up , James bond has a reputation to keep up which then mans he has to dress the part however, also feel the part, being dressed in black may not seem very crucial but it is also a sign of respect for lost loved ones , it can also be a representative for business and to be taken seriously, and lastly the colour gold represents an extreme amount of wealth being sold at thousands and millions of pounds this can show in the poster that it is classed as an upper class item and can be seen as a limited edition item, in the movie it is proven that there is only one 'golden gun' which brings more popularity towards it and which then brings in difficulties through out the movie for James Bond.
- Martial arts through out the movie the man with he golden gun shows multiple signs of martial arts such as Muay Thai, kung fu and karate which all involve in both hand and leg strengths, which can contain more drastic and thrill dramatic scenes through out the movie, creating more intense fights and more stronger defences.
